Wooden Crate Display Tips

This time we bring you wooden nesting crates. The crates are available as a set of four each with a different size measuring 9”, 12”, 15” and 19” square.
The crates can be used as is right out of the box however by adding paint and a little creativity it becomes a great display option for country décor or a unique display for fresh contemporary merchandise as well.
One of the most inexpensive ways to make a big statement is by using paint. Latex paint lends itself to our wooden displays. All that is required is a little time and imagination. We wanted to show a few ways that we used these crates and offer our tips and suggestions for you to try.
Tip #1 Don’t Be Afraid of Color
Bold color can only enhance the merchandise that you have on display so don’t be afraid to use colors that really stand out. In our display we are showing dark colored merchandise. By displaying that merchandise inside of bright pink crates, your eye is immediately drawn to it. Mission accomplished!
Tip #2 Displaying Different Merchandise Together
By displaying different merchandise together, you are suggesting to your customer what clothing and accessories will look good together.
This will allow your customer to choose a cohesive look without having to decide if it all works together. You have taken all the guess work out if it for them. Suggestive selling is never a bad thing!
Tip #3 Displaying Jewelry
We decided to use the smallest crate in the grouping to display fashion jewelry. This is a fresh approach to the more traditional way of using jewelry displays or necklace display cards. All we did for our display was loop the necklaces through and allow the charms to hang freely inside the crate. This creates visual interest that will instantly draw attention to the jewelry.
Remember that wooden crates are not just for displaying wine bottles anymore! As always we look forward to hearing from you. Please visit us here, on Facebook and Twitter for the latest tips, trends and ideas. Drop us a note to let us know what you would like to see next.
