Happy New Year to each and every one of you. We have truly enjoyed serving you in 2011 and we want to make 2012 our best year yet. We want to be the only source for your store fixtures and supplies.

We want to start this year off by offering you a series of videos that were created to provide answers to some very important questions. We have been logging your comments and concerns throughout the past year. We take your feedback seriously and we appreciate all of it. In response, we have created a new series called Conversations with Matt. Matt Wohlstadter the President of Store Supply Warehouse is featured in these videos and will respond to some of the most popular questions that you’ve had.

We wanted you, our customers to hear from him directly.  In the series, he personally responds to questions about free freight, discount programs and other subjects.

The first video in the Conversations with Matt series that we would like to present to you is a video detailing our position regarding free freight. In the video, we discuss the marketing behind free freight, true landed cost and UPS/FedEx shipping rates as they apply to your order. When considering special packaging, you need to take inventory of the merchandise that you have allocated as gift items. Take the time to measure the overall dimensions of the merchandise so that you can select the appropriate gift or apparel boxes that will work with the merchandise that you have.

Introducing Miss Trish

We are excited to introduce you to someone new to our blog Miss Trish. Tricia comes to us from our customer service department. She has been with our company for 8 years, 6 of which she has been training our new customer service representatives.

She brings along over 20 years of retail experience that covers a wide range of industries from food service, retail clothing, hotel and hospitality and retail store fixtures. After many years of working with the customers face to face and over the phone, she has honed the skills necessary to transform individual needs and expectations into visualized reality.

She will be adding a fresh twist to our blog answering your store fixture questions as well as helping you find practical solutions that are easy to apply and fun to watch.

The next feature that we would like to discuss with you is the importance of choosing the right size paper bag for the size and type of product that you have. In this video we will discuss the following:

  • How to determine the correct size bag
  • Demonstrate how to measure the merchandise for the bag
  • Discuss the reasons for the size bag that is chosen

Opening a Store With Cha Boutique

After working at Nordstrom, Sarah Garlich decided to venture out and realize her dream of opening her own store.
